FAQ

DCK9 practices balanced training. We think that setting healthy boundaries, rules, and structure will provide clarity in your relationship with your dog and lead to an overall happier, more well-rounded dog. Our goal is to help owners understand their dog’s needs, wants, and natural fulfillment, so they can see long-lasting, sustainable results.

The earlier the better! The earlier you reach out when undesirable behaviors start appearing, the better it will be for your dog rather than allowing them to continue to be practiced. Any dog regardless of age or breed can be trained — old dogs CAN learn new tricks.

During the initial consultation, we will best match you to a program that will most effectively help you achieve your training goals while also considering your personal lifestyle, busy work schedule, and dog’s behavioral issues.

For the Board & Train program, you will need to bring the following:

  • Sufficient food to last for the entire duration of the program, including some extra in case of need due to increased activity.
  • Your dog’s favorite treats and a toy to make them feel comfortable and engaged during their stay.
  • A copy of your dog’s vaccinations, which can be conveniently emailed to us.
  • Any medication(s) your dog needs (if applicable).

Owner shall have 48 hours, from the date of payment to cancel booked services for a full refund and program cancellation. After the 48 hour windows, all payment will be non-refundable.

While Zelle and Venmo are preferred for convenience, we also accept cash, debit, and credit cards.
