About

Hi! I’m Diana Diep and I’m the head trainer and owner of Deep Connection K9 Academy in Los Angeles, CA. I’ve lived and breathed dogs for as long as I can remember and nothing makes me happier than to see an owner’s relationship with their dog bloom. I offer basic to advanced obedience, puppy training, but specialize in behavior modification and aggression rehabilitation. Whether your dog is struggling with anxiety,  leash reactivity, resource guarding or dog/human aggression, we can help!

At the age of five, I knew I wanted to work with animals. Chasing my lifelong dream, I graduated from The University of Minnesota with my Bachelors in Animal Sciences & Pre-Veterinary Medicine but it all changed when I adopted my bullies, Moose and Mango. Due to their worsening reactivity,  I began researching and learning all I could about the world of dog psychology and behavioral modification. I very quickly learned that sometimes just love isn’t enough and being the best dog owner and bully breed advocate is about not feeding into the “it’s all in how you raise them” mentality and doing what’s best for you and your dog as a team.

Since starting my professional training career, I have worked under multiple trainers and have successfully trained over 400 dogs, but I have once been in your shoes. I know what it was like to feel frustrated and defeated. I want you to know that there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and it begins with learning how to best communicate with your dog!

Here at Deep Connection K9, I want to educate, advocate, and empower owners and their dogs to live a more fulfilling, conflict-free life together. I believe that there is no one-size-fits all when it comes to dogs as they are all individuals just like how we are. So what are you waiting for? Your best life with your dog is just ahead!
